We are excited to welcome you to Merriam Christian Church! We are an inclusive and open congregation and welcome people of all ages, all abilities and all identities to worship with us. As part of the body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us. Plan to dress casual and comfortable during your time with us. Our traditional worship service starts at 10:00am in the sanctuary located on the upper level of our building. After entering the main door, proceed up the staircase on your right to the sanctuary. Our worship service features traditional hymns, prayers, scripture and a message. There is an offering taken up and communion is offered each week. Our service lasts an hour to an hour-and -fifteen minutes and is streamed live on YouTube. Past services are available on the church Facebook and Youtube pages.

During every worship service, communion is given in a small piece of cracker and a small cup with grape juice. These are self-contained self-serving sets, which you pick up at the door as you enter. The communion is open to anyone who would like to take it, regardless of age or affiliation. As God's children we are each invited by God to God's table to receive grace, forgiveness and love.

The offering is used to support the ministries of the church. This includes outreach to the community and world, supporting programs and ministries in the church and in other churches and charities, and supporting our staff and facilities. Guests should feel comfortable to simply observe the offering. As Christians we believe that God places a unique call to give on each person's heart, and if and when God calls a guest to give, they are welcome to answer as they see fit.

We offer Children's Moments during worship each Sunday morning and Children's Worship via Youtube.

What to expect when you come

Sunday morning.

When you come to Merriam Christian Church on a Sunday morning, the parking lot and main entrance is located on the south side of the church. There is an hour of small group study (9 am) and a worship service (10 am) each Sunday morning. Childcare is available for all events on Sunday morning.
